Join CIWE and Music Director Christian Carichner as they dazzle and delight you with your favorite holiday classics like “Silent Night”, “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”, “The Christmas Song”, and of course – “Jingle Bells” along with Latinx American favorites! We invite you to bring a non-perishable food item to help stock the food pantry of Knock and Drop – a local food assistance organization and our partner for this holiday spectacular – see you at Franklin Jr. High — bring your jingle bells!
Artwork by local Latino artist Seso Marentes will be on display before and after the performance. Seso is an Iowa born Artist from Des Moines. His works are a commentary of his life experience having been raised in Iowa.
The Des Moines Public Library will be with us this afternoon to give away books to our young attendees and their families!
